NEWS FLASH :: Thank you to everyone who came out to support local fundraising events for the Tandem Tour!

On May 5th 2010, four students from the University of Victoria (Victoria, BC, Canada) headed out on a trans Canada quad-tandem bicycle campaign in aid of charity. Ben Miller, Brent Seamone, Jeff Belanger and Ian Bevis departed from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Over 2.5 months they pedalled their way to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, a distance of over 6000 km. Ben Miller rode in support of Friends of Redtail’s Sheltering Forests campaign, find out why. The other charities supported were Multiple Sclerosis by Brent, Diabetes by Jeff and Cystic Fibrosis by Ian.

Thanks Ben!

Ben Miller has been a supporter of the Sheltering Forests campaign since the very beginning. He has already raised several thousand dollars for our cause from events he has hosted in Victoria BC. Ben, your verve and dedication humble us. Our thanks seem small in comparison to your efforts.

Thank you also to every member of the Tandem Tour team. You’re making a difference in the lives of so many. We’re glad you made your journey safely and wish you continued success in all you do.
