The Society is a grassroots organization formed in 2007 to purchase 313 acres slated for an industrial clearcut.

Getting involved in the Society can take many forms. You are welcome to attend one of our many events held throughout out the year. We have a Winter Tracking Series, In the Spirit of the Wild Walk and several more.

You can become a member of the Friends of Redtail Society. Members contributed to the Society’s vision and help to keep the Society going by paying our insurance.
